BANC3 plays a critical, multifaceted role for the Department of War (DoW) by developing and providing cutting-edge technologies that are essential for modern national security and military operations. Our contributions range from foundational research to fielding advanced, ready-for-battle systems, fundamentally transforming how the military operates.
Innovation Ecosystem
The collaboration between the DoW and BANC3 forms an extensive innovation ecosystem. Our relationship is not new, as our firm was founded in its work with the federal government, in particular U.S. Defense.
01BANC3 also works with specialized DoW entities, such as the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU) and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
02We actively either act as the prime contractor or partner with both large, established corporations and other small, agile startups to combine our collective talents to rapidly transition commercial innovation into military applications.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and
Machine Learning (ML):
We weave and integrate AI into defense infrastructure for data analysis, reconnaissance, intelligence, target identification, and improving command decision-making. This involves creating trustworthy AI and ML tools that operate reliably in demanding environments.
Space Systems:
We at BANC3 recognize that integrated and innovative space technology for both ground and air operations is critical to communications networks, radio frequency signal analysis and monitoring, navigation and observation systems, and overall global security. Our designs facilitate deployment in constrained size, weight, and power environments, and our modular architecture can be customized and configured to satisfy a wide variety of mission.
